Whitelisting sometimes will speed up the processing time of your scanner as this will allow for the scanner to reach your network directly and mitigate any blockings or delays that are possibly taking place.
The addresses that would need to be whitelisted are:
What is Whitelisting?
Whitelisting a website allows a direct connection on your network, to that site, to make sure there are no delays or blockings that are taking place in your network for a software or hardware device.
How to Whitelist Yourself
- Through The Router IP
One of the most basic ways of whitelist(allowing) is by using the ip address on the back of your modem. To verify if you have this ability with your current modem please locate on it a label(usually white or yellow). The label needed will have an ip address + a username and password that will allow you to login using the browser on your computer. By logging in this will allow you to change settings on your router and enable and disable features. If you do not have anything that indicates this info on your router/modem then you do not have the ability to do this with your current router/modem and can proceed to option 2. If you do please follow the next steps.
Locate on your browser once logged in an area that says whitelisting/allow/allow a website something to that nature that will allow you to allow a website. Depending on the brand of router it can be located in various places. If you need help on this please supply your router/modem model number and name. Once the above websites are allowed please reboot your scanner by unplugging for 45 seconds and plugging it back in. Once powered back on please retry scanning. - Through an App
A lot of companies these days do not keep the traditional method and instead supply an app/website that you can login to achieve this. If you have this available please install and login and proceed with the next instructions.

Whitelisting Through a ISP(Internet Service Provider)
Some internet companies currently do not have the ability to allow the CX to change any of their internet settings, but normally if that is the case the customer can call the ISP and request for the above address to be whitelisted/allowed on their network.
