Connecting to Microsoft SharePoint in Raven Desktop

Raven Desktop enables users to connect to third-party applications such as SharePoint. Connecting to your third-party application allows for seamless document scanning to your preferred cloud account.

Connecting SharePoint to Raven.

Follow the steps below to connect SharePoint to Raven Desktop.

  1. Open Raven Desktop
  2. Click MANAGE next to Destinations
  3. Locate SharePoint, Click, and press SET UP DESTINATION.
  4. You will be taken to your Raven Cloud account (log-in if needed)
  5. Click SET UP next to SharePoint
  6. Enter your SharePoint URL and press CONFIRM.Screenshot_2019-09-24_at_11.43.03_AM.png
  7. You will now be directed to CLICK HERE to choose a destination folder.Screenshot_2019-09-24_at_11.43.44_AM.png
  8. Once you have chosen your folder, press SELECT. 
  9. To complete set up, click CONTINUE to confirm the folder of your choice.

Invalid SharePoint Link

Follow the steps below to correct Invalid SharePoint Link Error.

  1. Log in to your SharePoint account
  2. Select RETURN TO CLASSIC SHAREPOINT at the bottom left corner of the web view.
  3. Press '...' next to the folder you want to connect to.
  4. Copy & paste the link into Raven Cloud 'SharePoint' setup modal.

  7. Once you have chosen your folder, press SELECT. 
  8. To complete set up, click CONTINUE to confirm the folder of your choice.

No Folders Created

Follow the steps below to solve for 'No Folders Created' error.

  1. Verify correct SharePoint permissions for user.
  2. Access SharePoint site from user with correct permissions.
  3. Access MY ACCOUNT by clicking on your profile image/name.
  4. Click the CONNECTIONS tab from the navigation menu.
  5. Locate SharePoint and press SET UP.

  7. You will now be directed to CLICK HERE to choose a destination folder.Screenshot_2019-09-24_at_11.43.44_AM.png
  8. Once you have chosen your folder, press SELECT. 
  9. To complete set up, click CONTINUE to confirm the folder of your choice.

You have now completed the connection to your SharePoint account. Now, freely scan documents from Raven Desktop directly to the cloud.

Please note: Raven currently only supports the main site and does not support connecting to sub sites.
