Welcome to the Raven Family! We sure hope you enjoy your Raven 2nd Generation Original Scanner. Listed below is some information for getting you setup and scanning with your Raven 2nd Generation Original Scanner.
Installing the Scanner Input Tray
- Hold the ADF Paper Tray and insert two pins to the holes on the top of the scanner as shown. Make sure you push it all the way down! It might take a little bit of pressure.
- Fold down the output tray. Pull the output tray and raise the paper stopper to prevent paper from falling.

Here's what the scanner should look like once these steps are completed:
Connect to Power
- Connect one end of the power cable to the power receptacle of the scanner.
- Connect the other end to an appropriate power outlet.
ATTENTION: Please make sure the scanner is turned OFF before you plug or unplug the scanner
power adapter.
(Optional): To use a wired internet connection, connect one end of your Ethernet LAN cable to an available port of your Ethernet Hub (router/modem). Connect the other end to the port marked at the back of the product.
Power On and Get Connected via Ethernet Cable or Your Preferred Wireless Network
Connect to an available wireless network Or connect to other hidden network
Sign Into Your Raven Account (Sign Up if You Don't Already Have an Account)
Sign into your Raven account or sign up for free The Welcome Screen shows all your scan options
and displays fun quotes!
Turning Off Your Scanner
To put your scanner to sleep, simple press the Power button once on the front of the scanner. To power your scanner off entirely, hold down on the Power button on the front of the scanner, then choose "Power Off."
Now you're all set up and ready to enjoy your 2nd Gen Original!
