Follow the steps below to connect Raven Scanner to Raven Desktop.
- Download the latest version of Raven Desktop for Windows PC or Mac
- From the CHOOSE YOUR SCANNER CONNECTION screen, select your Scanner Version.
- Once selected, please press CONTINUE.
- Drivers will be installed.
- If Windows ask if you want to install from an unknown publisher, select yes.
- If blocked from installing, select more information, run anyways.
- Once completed, please select CONTINUE once more.
- Next, CHOOSE YOUR SCANNER CONNECTION screen will appear again giving you the options of USB CONNECTION and WIRELESS CONNECTION.
- For USB CONNECTION (preferred): Connect the computer and scanner with a USB Cable. Ensure the scanner is plugged in and turned on. Remember: the Standard can only connect via USB.
- For WIRELESS CONNECTION: Raven Scanner and your PC need to be connected to the same network.
- For Raven Original (1st Gen) Scanners, go to Settings, TWAIN Settings, and Enable Twain on your scanner touchscreen. Next, open Network Twain Finder on your computer and connect to your device.
- On Raven Desktop, select CONNECT for your preferred connection method.
- Searching for compatible scanners modal will display.
- Once completed, you will then have the option to name your scanner.
- Please enter a name, or simply press CONTINUE to proceed with the default name - Raven Pro.
