SMB connection with your Raven Scanner allows for direct scanning to local shared network folders on your PC/MAC or local NAS device. When a folder is moved, renamed, or connection is changed you may see 'Failed to copy file to the shared folder' which can be resolved by following the steps below.
Follow the steps below to resolve 'Failed To Copy File To The Shared Folder'.
- Verify IP Address
- If connection has changed via your Raven Scanner or SMB/NAS device please edit the connection by selecting DESTINATIONS. Select the GEAR icon beside the destination name, and verify the IP address is as listed on your device.
- Folder Has Been Moved
- Moving the shared folder can be troubleshooted by first verifying the new location of this folder. Although the parent/root folder does not need to be listed within your Raven Scanner, it does need to have share permissions as such with the folder you are scanning to.
If you have completed the mentioned above steps please confirm that both the device and scanner are on the same network. Should these steps not resolve your issue, please delete the connection via your Raven Scanner and follow the steps here.
