The "Error Code 2019" error can often be resolved by following the steps below. This error is usually caused by a communication error between Raven Scanner and your computer.
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot "Error Code 2019" with your Raven Scanner.
Restart Your Scanner.
- Disconnect power from the scanner.
- Wait 30 seconds, connect power to the scanner and power on.
- Attempt to scan using your preferred third-party software.
- If you are able to scan, the error is resolved.
- If you receive the same error, continue to "Re-connecting Via USB".
Re-connecting Via USB.
- Disconnect the USB cable from both Raven Scanner and your computer.
- Examine the cable for any damage.
- If the cable appears to be damaged, please use a different USB A/B cable.
- Reconnect the USB cable to your Raven Scanner and your computer.
- Attempt to scan again.
- If you are able to scan, the error is resolved.
- If you receive the same error, continue to "Trying An Alternate USB Port".
Trying An Alternate USB Port.
- Disconnect the USB cable from the computer.
- Plug the USB cable into another USB A port on your computer.
- Attempt to scan again.
- If you are able to scan, the error is resolved.
- If you receive the same error, continue to "Re-installing TWAIN Drivers".
Re-installing TWAIN Drivers.
- Uninstall Raven Scanner Pro TWAIN drivers from your computer. (Access Settings > System > Apps & Features > Select Raven TWAIN > Uninstall).
- Reinstall Raven Scanner Pro TWAIN drivers on your computer. (Locate the downloaded Raven TWAIN file and complete the installation tips found here.)
- Attempt to scan again.
