Notes on USB formatting requirements:

- For Raven Pro Scanner your USB flash drive must be formatted with the MBR (Master Boot Record) Partition Scheme (FAT32 or ExFAT) in order to be compatible with our Raven Pro Scanner.
- Raven Scanners do not support USB flash drives formatted with GUID Partition Tables.
- You can format your flash drive on Windows by going to "This PC", right clicking on the USB Drive, choosing "Format...", select FAT32 in the "File System" dropdown, then click "Start".
- For Mac, the built-in macOS Disk Utility.app allows for formatting your flash drive; be sure to choose the MBR (Master Boot Record) Partition Scheme if prompted. Note that formatting a USB flash drive will erase any data currently on the USB flash drive, so be sure to back up any data before formatting.
Other notes:
- All special characters used in file naming will be converted to an underscore ( _ ) when transferred to the flash drive from the Raven Scanner.
